This piece is where I have found a balance for a new painting style for myself. Balancing the color and how far I take a piece to completion is a long process. Just because you have the ability to make everything photographic in nature doesn't mean you should. I walked away from this piece feeling, "This is how I feel about how Amazing Zebras are!"..

This is the start of a series of wolf paintings. Wolves have to be my most favorite land animals of all.

Here I am continuing two things. My continuation of doing a wildlife series and my experiments with the saturated color palettes.

It's been about ten years since I seriously pursued doing wildlife artwork. That's way too long as far as I am concerned. I Love all animals and I am going to make more paintings like this in the future.

I was looking for something to paint and came across a photo of my buddy Tim dressed as Peter Pan. Two pots of Coffee and Thirty Smokes later, I came up with this painting. :)

In this piece I want a looser style and a story being told. As much as I Love painting women, I try not to present them as just objects of beauty. Presenting a depth of character in a given moment is my ultimate goal in my work.

When my friend Cat Tyler gave me permission to paint her I chose to try a style similar to Sorayama. A mix between Hyperrealism and Harsher Graphical Elements. Here is the result.

So it has been a couple of years since my wife Holly passed away. One of the last things she ever told me was that she would always be watching over me. I decided to paint how I see this when I closed my eyes..

I thought I would try some new techniques with this piece. It started out as a typical Pin-Up and then as I thought of her story. I added more practical clothing to fit a career soldier. Her attitude and fierceness still shows through.

At first this painting was going to be just an owl that I had enlarged the eyes. At some point I decided it would be fun to add a Fairy. Months later I had some time to finish it. I think that there will be many more Fantasy Paintings in my future..

I was thinking of different ideas for a logo for my new animation studio. This was one of those ideas... Clothing For Proper Pirates!! ;)

The Second painting in my Marilyn Series. This one brought me back to my old Portrait painting days. It's safe to say, that as a boy, I had a crush on Marilyn Monroe. As an adult I found her life to have so many dark twists, That the crush turned into admiration.

Some friends suggested that I paint some more marketable imagery. So my first thoughts went to the black and white movie stars and film monsters. This is my first attempt. It was started on the east coast and completed on the west coast.

The First of Many Pin-Up Illustrations I will be Producing. The model was my Stunning Wife Holly. This was also a CD album cover.

This is a variation of the "SaxMan" piece I did featuring my friend Kent Parkstreet. When I did this Illustration of my friend Kent Parkstreet, I was thinking that if I am called GrfxMan he should certainly be called SaxMan. His talent and skill as a musician brought him to America several times. Where we became friends.

A Buddy of mine Timothy Allen posted a dorky picture of himself. Well I couldn't sleep so, His picture got turned into a painting.

I stayed up all night figuring out an Age Appropriate Pin-Up for a Young Man who was a fan of my paintings. Soon I will Release a Sculpture of this piece.

I imagined a future where anything and everything was for sale. So at first I was thinking of ways to add price tags. Eventually the idea evolved into the notion of barcodes...
