In 1967, Patrick McGoohan created and starred in THE PRISONER for Everyman Films. Set in a dangerous retirement home for secret agents, its surrealist social commentary remains apt for the surveillance states of today.

It was produced by Everyman Films for distribution by Lew Grade's ITC Entertainment company.

For decades, the prison had been a symbol of fear and despair, housing the most dangerous criminals in the realm.
