The Leanan Sidhe is a Celtic fairy that provides inspiration to creative men, but causes them to become so engrossed in their craft that they waste away with their obsession, & die after creating their best work.

Garbed in saffron skirt and green cote, a dark-haired, dark-eyed, crimson-lipped fairy mistress appears to float as she dances into the life of an ill-fated human lover. A mortal creative who falls for Leanan Sidhe’s seductive charms will find she’s an inspirational- but-deadly muse, for the price of her eldritch inspiration is an early death.
