The Golden Hind, Brixham Harbour The Golden Hind in Brixham Harbour, is one of only two full sized replicas in the world of 16th century explorer and privateer Sir Francis Drake's famous ship. Golden Hind was a galleon captained by Francis Drake in his circumnavigation of the world between 1577 and 1580. She was originally known as Pelican, but Drake renamed her mid-voyage in 1578, in honour of his patron, Sir Christopher Hatton, whose crest was a golden hind. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this market town is, especially down by the river Nidd and it's imposing viaduct. Knaresborough is a market and spa town and civil parish in the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, on the River Nidd 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Harrogate. This lady is probably one of the richest people in Havana as every photo earns her 1 Cuk which is more than most of her compatriots earn in a day if not longer. Straw Bales Stacked High Taken on the Lincolnshire Wolds close to the stunning town of Louth, UK. Most farms now use the larger round bales to compact their straw in to but this farm is still old school and using the older rectangle format to store the straw in. This way is more manageable for the lone farmer as these bales are easy to lift on your own without getting a back injury. Birch Tree Yellow Sunrise Glow This stunning scene was produced by the sun reflecting off the sea mist and creating this amazing yellow glow making it look as though the whole area was on fire. This houses under the sun were bathed in a perfect sunrise and was a perfect backdrop for the lone Birch tree in the foreground. A birch is a thin-leaved deciduous hardwood tree of the genus Betula, in the family Betulaceae, which also includes alders, hazels, and hornbeams.
