Weighing more than 7 tons, the piece of sandstone rock was originally deposited in the ice age on Spaunton Moor. It was transported and erected on Danby High Moor to mark the millennium and has a carving AD MM on the reverse. After the stone was errected it was discovered that some of the indentations on the stone are actually dinosaur footprints. It certainly doesn't look out of place amongst the moorland heather.

The pipers are two bronze age, grantite, standing stones near Minions, Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, looking up to the cheesewring stowe hill where there are nature stone towers on top of the hill. The pipers are near the Hurlers stone circles which are unique due to them being three stone circles in a row.

Long Meg and Her Daughters The Long Meg monolith and accompanying circle forms one part of a complex of monuments in the Penrith area that includes, as well as the nearby Little Meg circle, a smaller circle seen by William Stukeley in 1725 to the south-west, no longer extant, plus the impressive henge at Mayburgh, a partly destroyed henge at nearby King Arthur's Round Table, and a third, completely destroyed, henge just a few yards to the south of King Arthur's Round Table. The monument is 120yd × 100yd in diameter. Long Meg herself stands 80 ft outside the circle, 20 ft above the farthest stone in the circle, "and is the tallest of the 69 stones at 12ft high and weighing c.9 tons."
