This painting is a whimsical interpretation of a serious subject... the corruption and manipulation of power. The Jester has the King's ear and is filling his head with what is probably lies or half-truths to influence the King towards and agenda that befits the Jester.

In the eyes of some is the poet viewed as a clown...or can the clown be a poet? It's up the viewer to decide. Mixed-media on un-stretched canvas
