A view of the Avon Viaduct taken from the top of the Avon Aqueduct. The Avon Viaduct is at Linlithgow Bridge, Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland. Linlithgow Bridge is dominated by this 26 arch Viaduct which was constructed in 1840 to carry the main Edinburgh to Glasgow railway line across the valley of the River Avon to Linlithgow, which it still does today. The Viaduct is 442 yards (404m) long and 92 feet (28m) tall at its highest part. The Avon Aqueduct runs through the middle of Muiravonside Country Park. Formerly an estate owned by the Stirling Family of Falkirk, this 170 acre park comprises woodlands, parkland and the River Avon. This was taken about 1993 with a panorama 120 film camera. Late afternoon sometime in June. Camera used is medium format Widelux model 1500 it made 50x122 mm frames on 120 film, and covered a 150-degree horizontal angle across the long side. I had to wade out into the swamp with tripod and camera, light meter and spare film.

Santorini officially Thira and classic Greek Thera is an island in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km (120 mi) southeast from Greece. Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). The pier closed to the public in 1975 and gradually fell in to disrepair and was ravaged by two separate fires in March & May 2003, both thought to be arson.

A (partial) double rainbow sprouting from the base of Skógafoss on Iceland's south coast. We got so lucky seeing this at all; as we were getting ready for the day, I looked out the window and saw a wall of clouds descending on Skogar so we rushed as quickly as we could to get to Skógafoss. We saw this rainbow for about 5 minutes before the sun disappeared and it was gone.
