Is Morcroft Lake truly a portal to another realm? Many in the nearby town of Gilmead claim that the Lake is at least cursed, based on the sheer number of disappearances that occur there. Lydia Harmond is there to investigate, and has already uncovered some very strange things. Sixty years ago, maps indicate that there was a town named Morcroft where the lake is today, but it seemingly vanished overnight and became a lake. There are also reports of loons with unique calls and markings that appear on the lake at night. Are their songs the calls of death or are they...haunting melodies?
