Another painting from my Memory Maps series. Like a bell our memories ripple through time and space, If we keep those we love in our hearts their their energies will remain long after they are gone, their kindness reverberating like song in our minds and on the air.

Sep. 6th Birth Flower : Nasturtium / Flower Language : patriotism ★I hope that "366 Birth Flower" conveys a heart to everyone and does not lose its fragrance forever.

So many flowers, so little time. With pollen on her head and beak, a female Allen's Hummingbird approaches a bright yellow nasturtium flower. In my yard, the hummingbirds prefer the feeders to the flowers, it seems. It took several days of shooting to get this shot. Shot with a Pentax K-3 and SMC-A 35-105mm, f14, 1/640s, ISO 3200.
